Business, Growth, and Development
STIA’s concentration in Business, Growth and Development explores the policy and management issues arising from advances in technology, and the role of technology in international development. Students in this concentration also build essential skills in international business and economics. Coursework covers the technological elements of business (information, biotechnology, energy, industry, and agriculture); business-government relations from regional to international scales; and national technology and competitiveness strategies; and technologies for development in a variety of international and global contexts.
